Repair questions, answered straight.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in any weekday between 9am and 6pm and we'll start a diagnostic on the spot. Booking ahead just lets us reserve a tech window for bigger jobs (logic board, water damage, etc.).

Are your parts OEM or aftermarket?

We use OEM parts whenever the manufacturer makes them available (most iPhone, Samsung, MacBook parts). For older models or where OEM isn't possible, we use grade-A aftermarket only — the same tier authorized service centers use. We tell you which up front.

How long does a typical repair take?

Phones: 60 minutes for screens and batteries — most done while you wait. Laptops & MacBooks: 1–3 days. Consoles: 2–5 days. Board-level work (microsoldering, water damage): 3–7 days. We give you a realistic timeline at the quote.

What's the 90-day warranty cover?

Both the part we installed AND our workmanship. If the screen we installed fails on its own within 90 days, we replace it free. Doesn't cover new physical damage (drops, water) — but if you're not sure why something failed, bring it in and we'll diagnose free.

What if you can't fix it?

You don't pay. The diagnostic stays free. Your device comes back to you in the same condition we got it. We'll tell you straight if it's beyond economical repair — sometimes a $40 replacement is smarter than a $300 board job.

Do you do mail-in repair?

Yes — anywhere in Canada. Email info@fixitlads.com with the device + issue and we'll send you a prepaid label and packing instructions. Turnaround is the same as in-shop plus shipping each way.
