Your data,
recovered for Toronto.
Toronto data recovery from a real Mississauga shop — 25 minutes west on the Gardiner. We take phones, hard drives, SSDs, and RAID arrays from clients across the 416: downtown, Yorkville, Liberty Village, The Beaches, North York, Scarborough, East York. Walk in, drive over, or use our prepaid mail-in label.
25 minutes off the Gardiner.
We're at 120 Matheson Blvd East, Mississauga — one Gardiner exit past the Toronto/Mississauga border, then north on Hurontario. Free parking. Walk-ins welcome. Mail-in available anywhere in Toronto with a prepaid label if you'd rather not drive.
TTC users: nearest subway is Kipling (Line 2). From there it's a $25 Uber/Lyft to our shop, or take the GO bus to Cooksville GO + a 12-min cab. For most TTC-only customers, our prepaid mail-in is the easier option — ask.
Every kind of failure, every kind of device.
We see hundreds of recovery cases a year — phones, laptops, hard drives, SSDs, RAID arrays from Toronto businesses and individuals. Most Toronto clients drive out via Gardiner; many ship in instead. Pick what failed:
External & internal hard drives
Clicking, won't spin, dropped, deleted, formatted. WD, Seagate, Toshiba, LaCie.
Solid-state drives
Not detected, controller failure, firmware issues. SATA, M.2 NVMe, Apple SSD.
iPhone & Android
Cracked screen, water damage, dead phone, swollen battery. iOS 8 onward + all Android.
Servers, NAS, RAID arrays
Multi-drive failures, failed rebuilds, controller failure. Synology, QNAP, Drobo, Windows Server.
Real shop, real bench — 25 minutes from your office.
One Gardiner exit past the city limit
If you've got a meeting downtown and the day starts at 9, you can drop a drive at our shop on the way in. We open at 9am, take 5 minutes for intake, and you're back on the Gardiner east before 9:30.
Mail-in for the TTC-only set
If driving out of Toronto isn't your style, our prepaid Canada Post label is the right move. Drop your device at any Canada Post counter, we get it next day, you get it back via tracked shipping. Most jobs door-to-door in 1–2 weeks.
Real shop, not a faceless lab
We've been at Matheson and Hurontario for years. You can drive over, see the bench, meet the techs, verify we're a real shop. Not a mailbox-only "recovery service" that ships your data to a third party.
No-data, no-fee — in writing
Diagnostic is always free. Recovery quote is fixed in writing before any work starts. If we can't recover usable data, you don't pay a cent. Even the FedEx return shipping is on us at that point.
B2B for Toronto businesses
Toronto small business with a server problem? Same-day diagnostic for B2B cases. We work with finance firms downtown, design studios in King West, and tech companies in the MaRS corridor. Net-30 invoicing, signed NDAs on request.
Honest about what we can't do
If your data isn't recoverable, we tell you upfront during free diagnostic. We don't take a deposit and stretch the work hoping you'll forget. See our SSD page — we openly list cases we won't promise.
All of the 416 — plus the broader GTA.
Toronto clients from across the city: downtown for the offices, west end for the agencies, north for the businesses, east for the families. Our walk-in is in Mississauga but Toronto traffic patterns make most of the city accessible in 25–45 minutes via Gardiner / 401.

Questions Toronto clients actually ask.
Is it faster to mail-in from downtown Toronto, or drive over?
Depends on traffic and your schedule. Driving Gardiner west to our shop is 25–32 min off-peak, 45+ min in rush hour. Door-to-door mail-in is typically 2–4 days each way via Canada Post (we cover the cost both ways). Most downtown clients with non-urgent jobs ship in. Most clients with urgent jobs (active business outage) drive over.
Can I get to your shop on TTC?
Not directly. Closest subway is Kipling (Line 2). From there: a $20–$30 Uber/Lyft, or GO bus to Cooksville GO Station + a 12-min cab. Most TTC-only customers find it easier to use our prepaid mail-in. Email us first and we'll send the label.
Do you do same-day pickup if I drive from Toronto?
For phone diagnostics — yes, often. Bring it in by noon and you can usually pick up by end of day. For drive recovery (HDD/SSD/RAID), the actual recovery work takes 1–3 weeks regardless of where you're from — same-day diagnosis confirms the failure mode and gives you a quote in writing.
How does this work for my Toronto business?
Same as for individuals, plus: same-day on-site diagnostic for B2B server / RAID outages (we drive to you in Toronto for an extra trip charge), Net-30 invoicing for accounting departments, signed NDAs on request, and a single point of contact (no offshore "case manager"). Email info@fixitlads.com with your situation.
What about the Eaton Centre / Yonge-Dundas area?
Same Gardiner west route — 30–35 min on a typical weekday. Parking is the bigger hassle (your starting point) than the drive. If your office is right at Yonge-Dundas, mail-in is genuinely the easier option.
I'm in Scarborough / east Toronto. Worth driving?
Honestly — usually not. From Scarborough, the drive is 40–55 min one way (off-peak), longer in rush hour. There are some recovery shops closer to you in the GTA East. If you specifically want our shop (no-data-no-fee, real bench, etc.), use the prepaid mail-in. Most Scarborough customers ship in via Canada Post.
Is there parking at your shop?
Yes — free parking in the building lot. We're at 120 Matheson Blvd East, Unit 202. Visitor parking is plentiful, no permit needed. Drop in any business day Mon–Fri 9am–6pm.
Drive over the bridge, or skip it entirely.
25 min west on the Gardiner gets you to our Mississauga shop. Or skip the drive and use our prepaid Canada Post label — most Toronto mail-in jobs finish 7–14 days door-to-door.
