Cracked screen / unresponsive touch
Glass + LCD/OLED replacement with OEM-grade parts. Full re-glue, water-seal restoration, True Tone calibration on iPhones, S-Pen recalibration on Galaxy Note.
Battery replacement / swelling
OEM-spec battery + adhesive kit. We balance the new cell, calibrate the gauge, and run a charge cycle test before you leave. Swollen batteries: priority — they're a fire risk.
Charging port / won't charge
Lightning or USB-C port replacement. Includes flex cable, mic + speaker assembly. We diagnose whether it's the port itself or a deeper charging-IC failure on the board.
Water damage / liquid spill
Full disassembly, ultrasonic-clean of the logic board, corrosion check, individual component testing. Time-sensitive: bring it in within 24 hours if possible.
Rear / front camera replacement
OEM rear camera modules including the new MagSafe-aware iPhone modules. Includes lens replacement, calibration via diagnostic software, and image-quality test.
Speaker, mic, earpiece
Loudspeaker, earpiece, or microphone module replacement. Often a $30 part fix that brings audio back to factory-spec on phones 2–5 years old.
Back panel replacement
Cracked back glass on iPhone 8+ or Galaxy. We use laser-separation tooling to lift the old panel cleanly without damaging the wireless-charging coil underneath.
Board-level / microsoldering
Failed PMIC, dead Tristar (charging IC), failed audio IC, broken trace repair after a drop. We do component-level work most chain shops outsource or refuse.

Drop off the phone, tell us what happened. We give you a written intake receipt with serial + condition notes. Diagnostic starts the same day.
Diagnose
We confirm what's broken (and what isn't). Some "screen problems" are actually display-flex cable, not the screen itself. Honest diagnosis means honest quotes.
Quote in writing
Fixed total — parts + labour + tax. No "while we're in there" upsells. If you don't approve, you take the phone back the same day at no charge.
Repair
OEM-grade parts, anti-static workstation, ultrasonic cleaning where needed, microsoldering for board-level cases. Most repairs done in-shop, same-day or next-day.
Test & return
Touch, mic, speakers, sensors, charging cycles, thermal soak, signal test — every device passes through the QC bench before you pick up. 90-day warranty starts the day you walk out.
90-day warranty on parts and labour. And the things we tell you no on.
- Replacement parts for 90 days. If the new screen / battery / port we installed fails for any non-impact reason within 90 days, we replace it free.
- Labour for 90 days. If the issue we fixed comes back without new physical damage, we re-do the repair at no charge.
- Diagnostic re-test. If a different issue shows up after our repair, we diagnose it free to make sure it's unrelated.
- OEM-grade parts on every job. We name the supplier on your receipt.
- New physical damage. If you drop the phone again, the new crack isn't on us. We'll quote the next repair.
- Liquid damage after our repair. Water resistance is reduced after any phone is opened — we re-seal but can't restore IP-rating.
- Software issues unrelated to the part we replaced. If your phone now has a software bug after an OS update, that's separate from our repair.
- Account / lock issues. We don't bypass passcodes, iCloud locks, or Google FRP. Bring the device with proof of ownership and credentials.

How much does an iPhone screen repair cost?
Depends on model. iPhone 8 / SE: $89–$130. iPhone X through 13: $160–$280. iPhone 14 / 15 / 16 (Pro and Pro Max): $250–$390. Pricing covers OEM-grade glass + LCD/OLED, full re-glue, and 90-day warranty. Bring it in for an exact quote on your specific model.
Will repairing my screen affect Face ID / True Tone?
Not on our bench. We use Apple's calibration tools to relink the new display to your Face ID dot projector and to enable True Tone on the new screen. Most chain shops skip this step, which is why their repairs trigger the "Important Display Message" warning on iOS. Ours don't.
How long does a battery replacement take?
20–45 minutes for most iPhone and Samsung models. We do a charge cycle test before you leave to confirm the new battery is reading correctly in iOS Battery Health (or Samsung Members on Galaxy). You walk out with a phone that says "100% maximum capacity" again.
My phone fell in water. Should I put it in rice?
No. The rice myth is mostly harmful — it doesn't draw water out of sealed cavities, and rice dust gets in the ports. What helps: power off immediately, don't press any buttons, wipe external moisture, and bring it in within 24 hours. The longer water sits inside, the more corrosion forms on the logic board, and the more expensive (or impossible) the repair becomes.
Do you use OEM parts or aftermarket?
OEM-grade. For iPhone displays, that means True-Tone-compatible OLED panels with genuine flex cables. For Samsung, it means service-pack assemblies (SP series). For batteries, OEM-spec cells with genuine adhesive kits. We name the part supplier on your receipt — no mystery parts.
What if you can't fix my phone?
You don't pay anything. The diagnostic is free. If we open it up and find the damage is beyond repair (rare, but happens with severe board damage or pre-existing third-party repairs), we re-assemble it and hand it back at no charge. We'll often suggest your best alternative (trade-in toward a new phone, data extraction-only, etc.).
Can I just walk in, or do I need to book?
Walk in any time during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm). For most phone repairs we do diagnosis on the spot or within an hour. Same-day completion on most phones. We'll text you when it's ready.
Do you do mail-in repair?
Yes — anywhere in Canada. Email info@fixitlads.com with your model + what's wrong and we'll send a prepaid label and packing instructions. Most mail-in repairs finish 5–7 business days door-to-door.
